PICTOGRAPH CAVE STATE PARK ACTIVITIES
Trails
1. Pictograph Cave Trail: Approximately 0.25 miles round trip. Features a paved path leading to the main cave with historic pictographs. Suitable for most fitness levels.

2. Ghost Cave Trail: An extension of the Pictograph Cave Trail, this unpaved trail leads visitors to additional caves including Ghost Cave and Middle Cave. Offers interpretive signage explaining historical significance.

3. Loop Trail: This is an easy loop that connects all three caves—Pictograph, Middle, and Ghost Caves—with scenic views of the surrounding landscape along its route.

4. Prairie Overlook Path: A short walking path offering panoramic vistas of Montana's prairie land from above the cave complex area; ideal for birdwatching and photography opportunities.

5. Nature Trails Network: Several unmarked nature trails branch off throughout park grounds providing more secluded hiking experiences through native grasslands teeming with wildlife such as mule deer or songbirds
